The materials we choose are the foundation of everything we make. We design with the long term in mind — toys that meet the strictest safety standards, made with as little impact on the planet as we can manage.

Wood

FSC-certified European beech and maple. Sustainably harvested, kiln-dried, and finished by hand.

Finishes

Non-toxic, water-based pigments and natural beeswax. Free from BPA, phthalates, lead, and PVC.

Plastics

Where plastic is required for safety or function we use food-grade silicone or virgin polypropylene that is fully recyclable.

Textiles

GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® certified linen.

Testing

Every product is independently tested to CPSIA (US) and EN-71 (EU) standards before it ships. Test reports are available on request.
